i think god is made from your own inner spiritual understanding of the universe and relationships with people. I think all gods in someway are the same only because they give one a sense of inner peace and tranquility, whether you are a Buddhist or a Muslim or a Christian, your god is there to help you understand and accept the world around you is not perfect, but livable.
I believe my god (Lutheran belief) is one who is understanding and peaceful and kind and tries to ease ones pain and hardships through his teachings more in the new testament in the bible, i think the apostles writings whether they are fact or fiction give one the best overall literature on how to "deal" with the world we live in.
We all seem to ask god for help and ask god why things are the way they are. I believe people have made things the way they are. Almost like, your parents do the best they can to raise you and give you grounded substance to deal with the world, it's up to you to carry it out. If your parents were lousy, it's an opportunity to change for the better to get grounded and learn from their mistakes whether they knew better or not. To show an example to others that it's ok to have faults and to forgive and understand.
I hope all gods are understanding and love you no matter what, just like a parent loves their own children no matter what.

Any "god" that is "made" is not a 'god' at all. The True and Living God, is not made or created.
Anyone denouncing Him will be punished, that is His Law; but out of that is also a promise of eternal life. If you just believe in His Son Yeshua (Jesus Christ).
Nobody is going to force it upon you, Yahweh (God) does not want or need you to be 'forced into faith', because that would NOT really be faith or belief in Him --- would it?
