any females who have experience in National Service before?

I would like to know how it's like...many ppl would tink that NS is for guys. But i really admire girls who joined NS. They're so courageous and strong both mentally and physically!!! =D

I know of a study (not offhand) which cites the fact that an Army woman is AS likely to be raped during her first four years in service as the average woman's liklihood of being raped once in her lifetime. This study conducted interviews with women who had been raped and found that its actually a prevalent thing in the (American) army. The study was kinda old tho, so the stats may have changed.

I thought of it, but when I heard of the combat exclusion and the myriad of other sexual discriminations allowed the military by OUR government, I opted out. Self respect and all ....
