I’m looking for regulations regarding the use of diesel powered forklifts inside a warehouse. If you know where I can find answers please enlighten me.

Someone already answered about the law. But from personal experience, I would recommend going with electric forklifts for woking indoors (Mitsubishi Catepiller here in Houston has them). You can get forklifts that run off propane or other bottled gases, but under heavy usage, the exhaust can build up inside the warehouse and make people sick. At my old company, we used the electric forklifts for years without any issues - so I highly recommend them for indoor use.

OSHA regulations forbid it. It has to be either electric or lng.
Google OSHA and check it out. I drive a semi for a living and I go to warehouses all of the time.
It is a law and the warehouse if they use diesel indoors can and will get in serious trouble.

Hmmm, someone should tell our forklift operators at my business. One is gasoline-powered and the other is propane.
