I'm from Virginia.

The Hawk is out. -means it's cold.
Neck tie party- means a hanging
Flip the script - means you changed your mind or attitude
What you smokin? - means Have you lost your mind?
I reckon - means I suppose
Musta been 'bout a hunnet - means it must've cost a lot (about a hunderd dollars)
She been chewin' on bricks -means she's very, very ugly.
gulpin down corn - means getting drunk (corn as in corn liquor, i.e. moonshine)
