I took a pregnancy test about 4 weeks ago and it was positive. I am unable to see dr until next week. We have ONE OB/GYN in our area. I am worried, no signs. I do not urinate all the time, breast are not sore, etc.....Anyone????

Yesterday I cooked a crock pot of 15 bean soup. I added a can of diced tomoatoes, onion, chili powder, and when the beans were done, I added cut up smoked sausage. We ended up getting invited to a friends house for dinner and so I just put the beans in the refrigerator to save for dinner today. Well, this morning we woke up and our refrig. had gone out and nothing was cool! Including the beans, matter of fact, they never completely cooled down. I plugged them back in this morning and turned on low. Do you think we should eat these or I should throw them out? I would hate to make my kids and husband sick!!

my dog is very agressive and he has long hair ...i am the only one that could cut his hair...but the only way i can do it is putting him to sleep for a while...cause if i dont he will bite me when i try to cut his hair..does anybody know about a pill or shot i can use to put him to sleep for a while or like some kind of anestisia

For the past 10 years, I have been diagnosed as having chronic depression, chronic anxiety, and mild schizophrenia. I am now 19 and on several different strong medications. They more or less keep me tranquilized and I just stay in my room all day. I never graduated school, and I just quit my job of 2 1/2 years. Right now I feel like I am so dependent on everyone that I lost myself somewhere. My mom and my family both think that I need to get anyway and find who I am and achieve independence. Thats why we decided that I should move down to Florida with my aunt and uncle (whom I'm also very close with) and kind'of build my life back up again. Return to school, get a part-time job, and learn how to drive. I grew up in Florida and I absolutely love it. My question to you is, do you think this will help me achieve something? I'm also going to ween myself off of my medication. I believe sun-shine beats medicine anyday. I'm really scared and don't know if I will last. What do you think?

A friend from another culture felt that it is the man's job to protect and provide for his family, but also controlling the family including the wife helped reinforce his masculinity. What characteristics reinforce masculinity in American culture? In other words what do Americans feel makes a man a man?

Doctors share information with each other if you give them permission...as a rule.

However, do they have codes in your files that would indicate to other referring doctors about you, especially information that you are a good or bad patient for what ever reason(s)?
Would these codes give a new doctor (or an old one for that matter) a heads up on you or your case.?

My guess is, I would think so, especially if there are problems like financial or potential legal issues.

I would appreciate your thoughtful and serious input.

every time we get together she seams to have some kind of an attitude towards me. i know that i have messed up in the past but i have worked very hard to make it right and i try not to mess up anymore. why do i make her so mad even when i do nothing wrong. she allways says that she loves me and i know that i cant live without her. how do we overcome this hardship.
