If knowing and accepting Jesus as your savior is the only path to heaven and all the rest will go to hell as I've often been told, why didn't he bother to say "oh, and swing by North and South America as there are millions of natives there living their lives in sin"?

Seriously, between the lifetime of Jesus and the eventual discovery and colonisation of the Americas millions of people lived their lives, only to go to hell because they never heard and never could have heard about christian god.

Surely, Jesus would have known the layout of this planet and the continents on it? Did Jesus hate the natives there? (considering the behaviour of christians and near-extermination of natives since they arrived there there might be something to this line of thought)

Recently I had a conversation with my brother who told me he is counting the days until his son turns eightteen so he can stop child support. My nephew will still be in school when this happens. My brother spends no time w/ his son had to be forced to pay & he wouldn't even acknowledge his son until he was well over three years old, that's when I met my nephew. My mother always complained about the fact that my father wasn't around and how he had to be forced to provide for us as well, yet she wont encourage my brother to be a better father and makes excuses for him. She makes out like he's actually doing a good job with his son when he's done practically nothing at all. His son doesn't even know where his father lives. Why do men act as if only the woman should bear the cost of a child and that as fathers, they should be able to get off? My nephew is a great kid, and his mother has done a great job with him. I ended the conversation with my brother in disgust. What do you think?

Marriage is only legal documents. It is nothing. I would never hope to get married. I would be willing to spend the rest of my life with my girl though. she's getting mad at me for not wanting to marrying her. I love her so much. We are at the proper age limit (24+). Why is marriage so important? If it commitment problems, I am fully committed to her. I would still look at other women but not do anything about it. I wonder if that is okay. and plus, if the relationship breaks off and didn't have any kids, I can get off scott-free without paying her if the relationship go bad.

Hi all,

My wife and I are moving from Montreal to BC. We've decided to sell all our stuff, which by the way you can see at http://andres.francisca.googlepages.com/index.html, but we still want to shipping few things out there (mainly clothes, dvd/home theater system). We do not need anything super fast since well' be away during summer and only until mid August settling down in a new apartment in BC.

So does anybody know a shipping service that take some bags/boxes from Montreal to BC? we don't care if its overland, train, bus, whatever, neither how fast it is.

Thanks a lot for any info.

He always finds time to go out with the guys and says he friends pay for him. For Valentines day he was very late our friends boyfriend paid for the entire dinner. He is always crying about how broke he is. I feel he is taking advantage of my goodness. I m tired of paying for everything. I dont expect the guy to pay every time but he still should be a gentleman and charm her at least for Valentines day.

A dear friend of mine (or rather, a friend who has recently crossed the line to lover, but we are NOT a couple) has eyes for only one blossom. And that would be the serene beauty of the lotus.
However, my lover and I are two birds of the same, off-beat feather. We have a taste for the Dark and Gothic. As such, he has always wanted to see a black lotus.

I know I've asked already but I really need help. My husband and his exwife are going through what we hope will be a final round of money battles. She's already received 110,000 from liquidated assets, and we've liquidated more assets to pay her 2200 a month. We only have my husband's trust (held in England) and our house. Everything else has been sold to pay her.
Here's the deal:
We sell off 80,000 pounds (the trust is worth about 500,000 but my husband does not have a pension/retirement fund and he's 50) which would pay her off and pay off what we owe on the house or
We sell our house and make a $150,000 profit after paying her off and paying off what we owe on the house.
Please help me. What would you choose and why?

Last night I was on my desktop and it was working fine... after that I decided to turn the computer off and go to bed... so I did.. Then a little bit later I decided that I want to check something... I turned on the computer and its running... then the logo "COMPAQ" came on and then the screen went blank.. I tried to restart it over and over again but it didnt work.. the last time I just turned it on and let it sit..so then the screen is still blank it a msg came up and it says

uh oh what do I do?? could my computer gotten sick?? a possible virus??
