If knowing and accepting Jesus as your savior is the only path to heaven and all the rest will go to hell as I've often been told, why didn't he bother to say "oh, and swing by North and South America as there are millions of natives there living their lives in sin"?
Seriously, between the lifetime of Jesus and the eventual discovery and colonisation of the Americas millions of people lived their lives, only to go to hell because they never heard and never could have heard about christian god.
Surely, Jesus would have known the layout of this planet and the continents on it? Did Jesus hate the natives there? (considering the behaviour of christians and near-extermination of natives since they arrived there there might be something to this line of thought)

uh oh a_z, be prepared, he's going to throw out these obscure prophecies that mention young lions and such and try to twist them into meaning the U.S. ;)
Edit: ok lmao.. so God didn't know about the Native peoples living here from before Jesus' time and that's why it's not mentioned.. cuz the white christians hadn't gotten over here yet for him to care about.. the lengths people will go to in order to make the bible fit just floor me.
Edit again: ok now I'm really cracking up.. I love the way they infer something from your text that isn't there.. and put words into your text that you didn't type.. this is actually becoming comical!

A very large number of «facts» described in the NT are nothing but legends, stories, bs, images and holidays borrowed from Paganism or, at most, facts that we cannot verify. The only thing that we can verify is the undeniable effect of the contributions of Jesus and St Paul upon our civilization. Jesus and St Paul introduced to the masses a new perspective on legal interpretation, based on the spirit rather than the wording of the Law. Jesus did not really transform Judaism into Christianity, that happened with St Paul, after the death of Christ. Jesus only emphasized the principle of Respect (Don't do unto others ...) above the strict compliance of the Law. This principle was not created by Jesus, but synthesized a few centuries before by another great Jewish thinker who already proposed the abolition of the Law. Christian principles are fully Jewish and fully rabbinical and inspired by God. Initially the Christians were the Jews who believed in the abolition of the Law and the exclusive application of the principle of Respect. After the enlightenment and conversion of the learned rabbi St Paul, the Law of Moses was completely abolished and replaced by the principles of Respect and Love, provided in the NT. Whoever reads the Letters to the Corinthians will realize that those letters were inspired by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Jesus instructed his disciples both past and present to go into ALL the world, make disciples of ALL nations and this obviously includes the Americas and the native peoples, He did not give a list of specific countries.
The behaviour in many cases of so called Christians towards native people is something which goes against what is taught in the Bible and while they may have been labelled Christian, their acts certainly were not.
No Jesus does not hate the natives, He died for all mankind.

Some people believed that Jesus knew every thing from the day of his birth.
Some believe that He grew in wisdom as the bible says and really did not know Whom He was until His resurrection.
At the time of Jesus, the continents of America were not called that and no one, from where Jesus lived, even knew they existed.
Remember good old Columbus was told he would fall off the ends of the earth as the bible explained the world to be flat.
There are three kinds of Baptism: Baptism of water - when we are baptized with water; Baptism of blood when we die a martyrs death for the faith, before we are able to be baptized and Baptism of Desire - which includes all of those people to live a good life, according to their conscience, and even if they have never heard about God, do their best to get along with others.

I seriously doubt if you are open to hearing any intelligent answers to your question. Just like your other questions which bespeak a dishonesty in inquiry on your part, you think if you can fashion some group of questions which you think have no adequate answer from believers then you have somehow successfully defeated the validity of theistic thought Otherwise if you are so offended by the message of Christianity why torture yourself? Get meaning atop some precipice somewhere..use gravity for an imagined design in your mind. paint us a pretty picture upon the sidewalk below. Afterall what meaning and purpose do you prepose for yourself? Maybe you were meant to be an artistic expression upon the canvas below. Paint thyself...fool.
If however you accept the premise that God sent His Son into the world to die for your sins and you accept this as being for you as well then I would consider that maybe you are entitled to an answer to your stupid claims of legitimate questions which are nothing more than expressions of the hate that you are so tickled over. Till then we Chjristians have a mandate not to cast our pearls to the swine.

if Jesus really was G-d then he'd know and there would have been provisions put in place to take into account those that didn't have access to "the word"
the fact is though that Jesus wasn't/isn't/won't ever be G-d and thus it doesn't matter if the christian bible says that those that don't accept Jesus are going to hell
that is actually the number one reason that I have heard that most people LEAVE the christian religion...because they really start thinking about the bullshit of that situatin and how could people claim that Jesus was G-d and G-d is just and all that crap if it means that millions and millions of people would be headed straight to hell even though they are good people
personally, I much prefer a religion that isn't based on who goes to hell and who doesn't.....I MUCH prefer a religion that is focused on people making their own commitments to G-d and the world and leave the worries of the afterlife TO the afterlife

In the time of Jesus, the Americas hadn't been discovered. That happened in 1492. Christianity arrived in the Americas with Christians. As for people who never knew of Jesus, who are you to say they are in hell? God is Merciful and would know if someone were taught or had heard the Gospel. I don't think he would hold a person in fault who honestly didn't know. Only those who hear God's Word and turn their backs are guilty of that sin. Are you? i hope not1 I'll pray for you and those who are like -minded.

Because people then had a hard enough time understanding what Jesus was telling them and too much information would have hopelessly confused their little minds like yours is confused now.
If you had actually read the Bible instead of mocking it from your position of total ignorance you would know that nowhere in the Bible does it say people who have never heard of Jesus automatically go to hell, but people like you who reject Jesus have chosen hell as their destination. Get educated, heathen....

Jesus never mentioned alot of nations and countries so why single out the Americas.. but how do you know that they didnt hear of / accept God?
when the pilgrims arrived they would have died in winter if not for help from the Indians. helping strangers and one's neighbors is a christian trait. so they knew of God before the pilgrims got there.
the thanksgiving day celebration was shared by pilgrims and indians alike unto God.
but its understandable that it isnt known because schools just dont tell the whole story.

According to Mormonism, Jesus actually visited America 40 years after his crucifixion to spread the Word to the Lost Tribes Of Israel living there. Actually true.
