1)use the website the first answerer gave. its good for all ages, and has a lot of really good ideas submitted by other people. you can read them, use the ideas that you like, and make its your own party. i used this site for many past b-days
2)some ideas i used before **luau-always fun**bowling**mall scavenger hunt**movie marathon
3)you dont need to use a theme. its perfectly fine to go to a 60s restaurant, head to the beach, and watch mystery movies. dont let a theme tie down the fun u can have
4)research the places around where you live. see if they have any fun events or b-day packages. ex- the movie theater around here gives a behind the scenes tour, and the bowling alley has 'cosmic bowling' (where they have the lights turned off, play rock music, and you can stay till 2AM!)

good luck! happy b-day!

How old are you going to be? My daughter's turning 16 and we have a huge party planned for her. My son will be 18 soon and we will also have a party for him. When my mother-in-law turned 60 we surprised her with a party. It all depends on your age I guess.
