NO you should really take it back to where you bought it from or a place that sells paint and have them add some paint dye to it and mix it for you.

not really mate because food colouring are for foods only which works in a heat but it's certianly not for painting a wall or whatever except food, why dont you buy a blue colour paint because you mostly want light blue and mix it in the ratio of blue 3 and white 1 hope this helps
cheers and good luck

No. Food coloring is a different chemical makeup than coloring used in paint.
Either go buy the shade you want OR get a pint of dark blue paint and mix it up yourself...
One time I used my acrylic paints (you know, painting pictures and stuff) and mixed those with latex paint, that worked for me.

No!!!! You need to add paint in a shade of blue to get the color you desire. Also FYI: When painting your kitchen, try adding a capful of Vanilla flavoring to your paint & stir well before painting. It helps keep the paint smell down. Yes, I have done this many times & it does not affect your paint, as far as application goes.

Angie, Angie, Angie... just take the paint up to any local hardware store and they make the paint whatever color blue that you want. They'll charge you something minimal, like maybe $5. You can look through the paint swatches in the store and pick the exact color blue that you'd like.

I don't think this is a good idea. You can get an additive from a store that sells paint,That is a better choice.

Only if it is a water based paint. It will not work in an oil based paint. I would do a sample first and try it out.

it might, but i wouldn't do it that way, if you ever needed more of that color, you'd never get the exact shade again...when you have white paint tinted at say home depot, the formula they use is on a label they attach to the lid. that way if you ever need more of the same shade, you can easily get it...hope this helps you :)

Fascinating!!! I am not sure if it will last in paint. But originally dyes were from food products like berries.
