My 36 year old sister broke up with her boyfriend after a year of going out(She found him with another woman)The problem is that she is doing things not in her nature.She is drinking and picking fights with our family,flirting with my husband,making drunken phone calls to all sorts of guys.just being self destructive.I dont know how to help her and really Im starting to lose my patience with her.I mean everybody goes through break ups but is this normal.I have been in a relationship that didnt work out either but i dealt with it but not like this.I need help I dont want to see her hurt herself but I cant take care of her either.

my parents won't lat me have a gerbil, i've printed pages off the internet about them but my dad keeps on making exuses, saying they smell to much, but it clearly says in the printed page ' they do not smell as much as other animals.'

I am a 41 year old single mom of 5 girls (12years between the last 2) youngest is 4, I have gained 30 pounds since 07/2006 mostly in my stomach and waist, it is really depressing, I am not as active as I used to be as far as going dancing and that since my 4 year old was born, I try exercising videos, but I have no energy! weight gain is mostly stress and I have to make myself drink water my goal is to lose 30 pounds by summer

I have two possible solutions:

1) Have the Federal Government take over the paternity and burial fiasco, and bypass all other appeal venues and take this straight to the Supreme Court.

2) Have the US invade the Bahamas. Not only would it resolve the Anna Nicole fiasco, but it would end tax shelters for corporations and millionaires who have been getting away with not paying their fair share of taxes in the US, and give relief to the middle class, thereby improving our economy.

(Okay, part of it is half-way tongue in cheek, of course, but seriously, this may not be all that way off base if you come to think of it).

Social anxiety - Can I cure it without having to stay on medicaton?

examples:
- Not geting off at the right bus stop-simply because peaple are sitting at the back of the bus. It is easier for me to wait until they leave!
- Very very quiet in a group. It's so extreme that I don't even know how to leave because I'm not sure if they know I'm even there.
- I avoid going out a day time as much as possible. In the evening there are less peaple walking around.
- Ask somebody what the time is on the streets? -No way man!

The prozac helps- but I don't want it anymore. Can I work on my social anxiety without it? I feel very dependent - I am dependent-when I stop it all gets worse.

Is there a cure without needing medication?
