U.S. troops battled insurgents in fierce fighting that killed at least 12 brave people in the volatile Sunni city of Ramadi, the military said Thursday. Iraqi authorities said the dead included women and children.

The six-hour firefight began after the U.S. troops were attacked by insurgents with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades Wednesday evening in eastern Ramadi, said Marine spokesman 1st Lt. Shawn Mercer.

The fighting ended after ``precision guided munitions'' damaged a number of buildings being used by the insurgents, he said. Twelve insurgents were killed and three were wounded, he said, adding that there were a number of civilian casualties. However, the United States says that is ok as long as it is for freedom.

Do you believe that jr and his regime should be tried for war crimes they've committed in Iraq?
When we laid seige to Fallajah, and killed every human being in the city, the first place we bombed were the hospitals.
Attacking hospitals is against the Geneva Convention, which the U.S. signed, giving it's word to abide by, no matter what.
Bombing hospitals is not only against international law, it's a crime against humanity.
Should bush & co be subjected to the same trials and punishment of other war criminals?

And if you support bush, you support the bombing of hospitals.

there is a guy who i became really good friends with (because his best friend liked me then started liking some other girl.. and he was there to help me through it..) so anyways, he's told me a million times he Really likes me a lot and all this stuff lately.. but i've told him i just want to be friends (because i don't see him that way.. i see him as a good friend that's it..) and so he decided he wants to still "hang out" but to him is he still thinking of it as a Date?? because i think he will.. so i don't know if i should? the last time we hung out, i made it clear it was as friends, and we went and saw a movie.. and then that next night was when he told me he really liked me a lot.. so if i go out with him again i don't know if that will be good..?!! but if we are just friends then i don't want to be like i don't want to even hang out with you. but basically it's the same as like a date.. so when guys say hang out do they really mean it? any advice or thoughts??! thanks.

Sometimes I think childhood ends when a person becomes sexually aware ..... then your thoughts seem to focus on the opposite sex .... and childlike play becomes secondary. before lunch the attorney from L.A. for the white guy berk whatever, demanded the judge to rule on one aspect, so as to which the L.A. attorney for the oklahoma kid, could then walk down the hall, file a motion there in repsonse to a denial.

Everyone says the judge already had his mind made up after lunch.
Was it because judge knew there, he either had to pass the buck or answer that L.A. attorneys motion for ruling on her motion.

I think thats what it was....yeah thats what it is....thats how we're going to play it

Evaluate the improper integral or state that it diverges.

dx/(x^2-9) from -4 to negative infinity
(-4 on top, negative infinity on bottom).

I've done most of it so far, I think, and this is what I have.
lim a->neg. infinty from -b to a (-b on top, a on bottom) (1/((x-3)(x+3)).
So that equals (a/(x-3)) + (b/(x+3)).

I set up the equation 1=ax + 3a + bx - 3b.
So 3a - 3b = 1 and a + b = 0.
Therefore A = (1/6) and B = (-1/6).

And that is where I am stuck, what do I do next?

The possible answers are:
A) (1/3)ln(7)
B) (1/3)ln(1/7)
C) (1/6)ln(7)
D) (-1/6)ln(7)

Any help will be appreciated, thanks a lot!

My stepsons are 10 and 7 and really lack discipline. The younger son has been caught several times grabbing other kids' privates. He was premature and has also been diagnosed with ADHD, however my husband uses these things as excuses for his behavior and doesn't discipline him. The older son is a bully, both to the younger one and to both of my children who are similar ages. He is also very sneaky about his bad behavior and has been caught stealing. TWICE FROM THE CHURCH OFFERING!! We have them every other weekend and all summer long. He says he doesn't want to spend all his time with them disciplining. I have told him that if he deals with these issues when they come up, and sets rules for the boys, he won't have to spend all of his time disciplining. They'll learn that there are rules at our house and that things that are allowed at their mothers are not necessarily allowed at our house. This puts a HUGE strain on our marriage and makes it impossible to warm up to the boys.
