The muscles we use to urinate are some of the same muscles used to contract the sphincter. Also the emptying of the bladder changes the pressure gradient inside your colon and intestines such that the gas is forced towards the point of least resistance in an attempt to obtain equilibrium. I am not clear about the answer to your qs but I should mention that there is no such word in the English language, as 'flatulation'. It's "flatulence".

As your bowels move the gas along, it presses on your bladder.

You feel the need to pee, stand up and break wind as you are releasing some of the pressure off your bowels...
