I've wondered for a few years now who would win: the ancestors of the men of the west or the ancestors of the dwarves in Tolkien's world. Due to a lack of time, I haven't been able to find out the history of Tolkien's dwarves, so would any of you LOtR buffs care to enlighten me? I would be tremendously appreciative to uncover this mystery!!

I am a subscribing member of www.webshots.com, and thus have access to the "pro shots" section, where there are some really really nice quality photos. As part of a project I wanted to take these photos and put them into a slideshow accompanied by music in a montage, but I have to download them in .wbz format, which can only be opened by the Webshots Desktop application. Is there any way for me to convert these files into regular .jpg or .gif files?

I'm in 7th grade and there's this girl that i really like and I'm pretty sure she likes me back. Whenever I go over to her house she lays her head on my shoulder and she hugs me all the time and recently we started holding hands. You were told in Secondary or High School that you would not be learning how to read Shakespere because you were too dumb.

Believe it or not, that is what some schools are doing. They are refusing to teach the students how to read Shakespere because they think the students are too dumb. So they will teach the students how to read web pages.

What is you opinion on this?

So my kitten had a simple URI, no complications, airways were clear and no temp when the vet measured it but for some reason her nose is very very dry all the time (you can even see the dry skin, it cracks a little). She's energetic, eats well and I just finished a course of antibiotics and eye drops. Her eye looks good, no discharge like before but at times she will breathe through her nose and kind of gulp. I asked the vet but both times I saw her, she said it's just a URI and nothing else. Her stool was negative for parasites. I don't know whether I should get a humidifier or see the vet again. Could it just be really dry air? Have you had a similar experience with your cat? Help!

I went to a salon to get a haircut and they did not do what I asked. They basically shaved my entire head to about 1/4 inch long and left about 4 inch bangs up front - not at all what I wanted. My hair grows really slow - about 1 inch every three months. Especially in winter. Is there anything that will make it grow out faster.
