My boyfriend became a diabetic last April and since then we have been having a difficult time in the bedroom. We very much enjoy making love, but when he loses his erection it kinda kills the mood. It's to the point that is starting to make him depressed and he doesn't even want to make love anymore because he feels that he is inadequate. I don't know what to do to help him, short of talking to his doctor about it and it's not really my place to do that. However, he is too embarrased about the situation to bring it up to anyone himself, even to his doctor. I need advice...

I'm 21,my sister's 30.My sister has 3 kids by 3 guys. She has no job(by choice) & lives off a combo of my 7-year-old deaf niece's social security check, food stamps,& WIC.I'm living with my fiance, who is also 21.We both work full time & support ourselves. We're getting married in Sept. & paying for the wedding ourselves. My parents promised to help out,but backed out because they had to help my sis, something they always do.Recently,my sister asked me if she could borrow all my wedding things for her own wedding. This includes the decorations,my dress, veil, garter, everything but the wedding rings. She says she's marrying the dad of her youngest child & they're waiting until after I get married so they can use my stuff. She gets in violent fights with this guy every other week. She burns his things, kicks him out, cops are called.I'm offended she even asked b/c my fiance & I worked very hard to pay for our wedding.I feel she's just trying to get attention.Am I being selfish?Should I loan it to her?

How exactly do bonds work? Who sets the nominal (flat) yield of a bond? Does the Federal Reserve set the nomial yield for all bonds (that is, nomial yield for all bonds is just the interest rate set by the Fed)? And that the only thing that's different among bonds is the current (running) yield, which is controlled by the market? This is what I am getting from the definitions on this page: http://www.finance-glossary.com/terms/bond-yield.htm?ginPtrCode=00000&id=166&PopupMode=false

I am asking because I am reading a stock investing book that tells me to look for stocks with earnings yields at on near THE (caps mine) bond yield, and I have no idea if that means there is only one bond yield for all bonds or what. Or maybe the author is talking about the treasury bond (t-bond) yield. I don't know. Thanks for the help.

Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda, a minister, says he is God. De Jesus preaches that there is no devil and no sin. His church claims thousands of members in more than 30 countries, who mark themselves with 666, the mark of the beast.

My question is that he insists that he knows all this because angels told him so in a dream. Why believe Mary and Joseph who were also visited by and angel and not Jose? He also has other "proof" of his divinity which are being disregarded as false but people believed Jesus walked on water. How do you make the destinction to believe one thing and not another since neither can really be proven.

The stress of school, friends, and sports are starting to take their toll on me. I have been getting more and more depressed lately. I try to talk to my friends who have been down this road, but they can't be there for me 24/7. When i am alone, i get to thinking how i am going to be a failure in life and no one will ever love me. I know i shouldn't be defined by a guy, but when i had my first "relationship" (or as close as you can come at my age) i felt so secure. But when it ended i was devastated. I don't miss the guy so much as i miss the feeling of comfort.

My depression has gotten so bad that when i cross a bridge on my way home from school, i think of flinging myself off or throwing myself infront of a car. It makes me want to cry when i think of how badly this has ruined my life. I want to cut, and the temptation is getting too strong for me to fight it anymore.

I am 14, and depression does not run in my family.

Do you remember this? does it still exsist? Did you use it? It was the first time I ever chatted online. I know it's outdated by now, but I was just wondering if anyone remembers it or used it. I'm bored obviously to waste time thinking of that..but it just popped into my head! :)

My sister's in her first year of college. She tried to take biology, but on her 1st day, the teacher explained to the class that if they hadn't already taken chemistry, they would have a ruff time in her biology class. My sister dropped the class a week later due to complete confusion. She then attempted chemistry, but also ended up dropping out of it within the 1st week since she never took chemistry or physics in high school; and doesn't even understand what an atom is! Yes, the school system has failed her, what to do now? I found that physics, since it's the basis for understanding the more abstract concepts introduced in chemistry and biology, would be the best starting point for her. But, physics (along with all sciences) requires lots of math. My sister's taking college algebra right now. My question is, what math courses/subjects are recommended to take/learn before taking a college physics course (assuming no prior chemistry or biology courses have been taken)? thanks

I mean really, I was sitting at home listening to my mp3 player and staring at my full shelf of cd's which I haven't used in months. Now I know not everyone has an mp3 player but I'm still curious.

Tell me about your stereo system.
This question is just for fun, I'm hoping a lot of people will participate.

I like;
~ Long (on topic) detailed answers.
~ If they still sell the items, links to the item is nice.
~ If you remember what you paid, prices of the items is nice.
~ Links to photos of your stereo system would be nice.

I'll probably pick the stereo system I like best, but I may pick a stereo system I like less if it's a good post.

These Yet To Be United States
Tremors of your network
cause kings to disappear.
Your open mouth in anger
makes nations bow in fear.
Your bombs can change the seasons,
obliterate the spring.
What more do you long for ?
Why are you suffering ?
You control the human lives
in Rome and Timbuktu.
Lonely nomads wandering
owe Telstar to you.
Seas shift at your bidding,
your mushrooms fill the sky.
Why are you unhappy ?
Why do your children cry?
They kneel alone in terror
with dread in every glance.
Their nights are threatened daily
by a grim inheritance.
You dwell in whitened castles
with deep and poisoned moats
and cannot hear the curses
which fill your children's throats.
