What is supposedly happening this year? What's the celebration about?

My boyfriend and I are talking about getting married, becoming officially engaged in a few months. I would love to get married in November because my parents will be celebrating 25 years together then and it would mean a lot to me. However, that would leave only 5 months from the formal engagement to the wedding. I don't want to inform my parents, who will be assisting financially til I'm formally engaged. (Though my mom has been probing me on the subject a lot lately) Not looking to have anything big or extravagant, just a small gathering of friends and family--the only thing I really want is a gorgeous dress. Is 5 months long enough to plan a small wedding(and by small, I mean small)? Thoughts and personal experiences welcomed :)

I am going to start exercising the treadmill and the exercise bike. Here are some question:

1. On what days shall i exercise on the treadmill and bike for and for how long should i exercise for per days. (Like every day, every other day, or what, and how long each workout.

2. Is it ok if i Exercise somedays in the morning, somedays in the night, and some days in the afternoon. Will this mess up the workout routine.

My cat is 12.5 years old and he is overweight. I have noticed lately that he doesnt jump that much anymore, I dont think he could even jump onto my bed. He can jump on my couch with a struggle. He also waddles now and he has been drinking lots of water lately. Does it sound like he has diabeties? How can I test him without bringing him to the vet, the ride there would really frighten him and my vet killed my last cat, they were greedy and have been known to do operations or leave things in animals when not needed to make extra money. My cat seems very healthy and happy besides everything else does anyone know if this sounds like diabeties?

Lots of people in Y! Answers told me that Indonesia was once a prosper nation before the 90’s crisis. Now they’re weak and suffering in the bottom, mostly from the corruption in the government!

Is there any chance for Indonesia to rise again? Indonesia’s last chance? Is there is, what should Indonesian people and government do to advance their country ASAP? Rise of a Nation here…?

Hey, I am having problems with this math problem.
Here's the given Info.
Hyperbola: foci (2,1) and (8,1), conjugate axis is 6 units.

Here's what I worked out:
The center is (5,1) since its right in the middle of the foci.
And in terms of "a" "b" and "c", the formula would be a^2 + b^2 = c^2
So b=3 and c=3.
If I have worked it out right, here's what I get:
a^2+3^2=3^2
a^2 = 9 - 9
a^2 = 0
a = 0
Since a is zero, where would the asymptotes be?
You dont have to do ALL the work, just enough so I can see where the asymptotes would be. First person who explains it to me gets 10 points.

I want to learn how to play the guitar this summer. The electric guitar sounds cool but I don tknow if i should start with acoustic. I've heard a rumour that the acoustic guitar messes up your fingers because the strings are wire-like while the electric's are plastic-like. Any advice?

What are your reacts if you hear that your school is going to be close in next semester and just imagine that you are an international student and you have already passed 15 courses that now you cant transfer them to any other private or public universities?
