I am going to start exercising the treadmill and the exercise bike. Here are some question:

1. On what days shall i exercise on the treadmill and bike for and for how long should i exercise for per days. (Like every day, every other day, or what, and how long each workout.

2. Is it ok if i Exercise somedays in the morning, somedays in the night, and some days in the afternoon. Will this mess up the workout routine.

Working out in the morning is the best because you speed up your metabolic rate for the day, which helps burn off more calories even if you eat the same amount of food. This is also from personal experience. But then, any exercise, no matter what time you do it, is better than none.

Eat a little (not a meal) before you exercise is better than eating afterward. It's probably because your body would want to replenish after exercising and 'holds on' to the food (convert and store as fat) more.

I have read that it's best to exercise in the mornings because it's helps to establish your metabolism for the day. It's not good to exercise late at night because it could interfere with your sleep routine. If you exercise 3 times a weeks that would give your muscles a chance to rest in between. The main thing is to consistency and don't overdo it to begin with. Start off slow and then you can gradually increase your speed and time exercising on the treadmill and the exercise bike. I have found out that if I pick an exercise that I enjoy doing (like swimming or hiking) then I will look forward to it and enjoy it as well. Good luck.

You are starting out, so please start slowly, to help your muscles build up for the endurance. Please start off with some stretching, to help your muscles as well. Please start with 10-15 minutes on the treadmill, and the same for the bike. And, for starting out, probably every other day. Not more than 30 minutes per the days you exercise. Slowly build up by ten minute increments would be the best, for each. As you find yourself having your endurance building up, increase by those ten minute increments, and then, if you really want to, after you have been doing this to a point where you want to do more, consider doing them every day, again starting with the base limits on the days you are not used to exercising. Yes, it is ok to vary the times of day you exercise, however, it's okay to do so in the evening, at least 2 hrs. before i't time to go to bed. Longer than that if you can-like if you go to bed at 10 pm, please try to finish your "workout" by 6 pm., so your body will have time to wind down for the night, and help you sleep better. Also, from the very beginning, please drink at least 8 - 8 oz. glasses of water per day. Possibly up to 10 glasses per day. Or, 4-6 16 oz. bottles of water per day. Morning, noon and night, drink water. As for exercising on an empty stomache, vs a full stomache. I would reccommend an empty stomache-or at least some juice in your system first- or better than that-a piece of toast with peanut butter on it woud be good. About a half hr. or hr. before you exercise. to help give your body energy for the exercise. Take care.

cardio workouts can be done everyday if you would like. Weight training you should work out a different muscle group everyday. I read that it is best to wake up and work out on an empty stomach. (do drink water) and do not eat for an hour after your workout since your body is still burning calories.

NO JUST AS LONG AS YOU DO IT BUT MIX IT UP BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T YOUR BODY WILL GET USED TO IT AND IT WON'T DO MUCH.
