that's the problem. people on one side want the other side to agree. for years. the smart people have been using logic, and now the stubborn people are not taking it anymore.
so, the smart people are currently arguing among themselves and analyzing, while the stubborn people have united and presented a single front with a single set of rules of engagement.
luckily, the stubborn people got too arrogant, so within the stubborn camp, there's dissension. the arrogant people did things so wrong that they can't take it anymore.

I'll tell you exactly the real inventor of our system is Juleus Cesar of Rome and for this the senate stabbed him just less of one hundred times.
I call the center (the circus) for a reason stay away it's probably dangerous on yahoo answers actually but nothing like (the circus) of coarse. There is massive money and power though in the center which is why people flock there like moths to light. Get to close and
I like to keep about 50 miles between me and especially the Bush administration when it comes running around. When he first got elected I went by the circus when he came to town and for fun broke security got behind lines (legally) ha ha but
no stay clear he's a dirty scary man. (part of it though the circus is so insane it is real hard to tell who the wrong doer is sometimes it could just be all his friends or something??)

Because we don't agree of most of what our government is doing. We just want better lives.
Take this as an Example:
Bush cut budgets from programs such as medicaid, food stamps, farm subsidies, agency budgets (such as from the Pentagon), and student loan programs.
He also raised premiums to employers for government insurance of their employees' and retirees' pension benefits and fees on students who default on loans or consolidate them and higher fees on parents who borrow on behalf of their college-age children.
California Rep. George Miller (news, bio, voting record), the senior Democrat on the panel, called the package a "raid on student aid."
Bush also cut budgets from child support enforcement.
Bush tightened eligibility standards for foster care assistance in nine states and delay some lump-sum payments to very poor and elderly beneficiaries of Social Security's Supplemental Security Income program.
Bush also eliminated payments to industries harmed by unfair foreign trade practices.
"They are targeting programs for poor people to pay for tax cuts for rich people," said Rep. David Obey (news, bio, voting record), D-Wis. Once those tax cuts are passed, Obey added, deficits will be increasing again.
On the student loan information sheet, the maximum amount a first-year college student could receive as a loan from the government is $2625 or somewhere in that proximity. That amount will cover less than 1/5 of college expenses for a university with annual expenses (everything including books, tuition, room & board, etc.) of $14,000.00. I know because I will be a first-year college student and I already feel the pressure.

Agree on what? If I disagree with the other side's view. I'm not just going to back down and say, "OK, I give up, your way is the best."

Politics are an important matter. Things that are actually important always are going to be "fought over."
America would be a ridiculous place if we constantly were in agreement about it.

In a nutshell: A democracy means our government is run by "the people."
Trouble is, people are different and have different agendas and different ideas on what's best.
For example, I think it would be best if you mailed me all of your money. Can you and I agree on this?
Bingo.

People have different world views & tend to be passionate about them. Agreement is neither possible nor desirable.

people are offensive , a policy called zero tolerence has been taught in america with the aim of removing all emotion and passion for citizens , thus we are scared of people who feel strongly about polotics and that is offensive to us.
