I have an imbalance of my pituitry gland which produces the hormone that matures your eggs every month. It was only picked up after I insisted on a full blood test due to having put on so much weight. Oh and it was caused by the pill! I also have an underactive thyroid. I am on tablets now which control it as normal. When diagnosed I was told I may not be able to have kids but I am proud mum to a 2 1/2 year old boy. Get checked out, then u can deal with any potential problem. I am now trying for a wee brother or sister for my son. Good luck.

There are several hormones that can be off balance. One that is really common is too much testostorone. A characteristic of several disorders including PCOS. Many women have PCOS which causes infertility and miscarriage. You will need a blood test and/or ultrasound done to be diagnosed with this disorder. There are also several others. Consult with your GYN if you are concerned and think you may have a imbalance.

pcos is a condition that can cause infertility and increasea womans risk of a miscarriage. Pcos would need to be diagnosed by your doctor. If your having problems its worthwhile getting a series of basic tests done, such as blood tests and an ultrasound scan. Have a smear done if your due one. Alot of fertility problems can be helped with diet, exercise and medication so stay positive. good luck

Yes it can, but without blood tests, no one can tell you with exact certainty what hormones you have off balance. You are best to discuss your concerns with your doctor. You could also be suffering from other conditions (unknown to you) that could also be causing infertility and/or miscarriage. Good Luck.

Yes. Several different hormones contribute to ovulation and preparation of the uterus for implantation. Possibly LH or FSH.

It's possible to ovulate but the uterus not be ready for implantation. There are shots that can force ovulation. If you are concerned about the amount of time TTC consult your OB and have blood tests done.
