On both occassions my dog was under control on a lead. The first time the other dog got away from its owners, charged across the road and attacked my dog. My dog suffered a deep bite to his leg. The second time was a long a footpath, the other dog was off the lead and again it rushed in to attack. This time my dog had the muscles in his chest ripped. I am almost afraid to take my dog out now in case I meet this other dog especially as I often have to walk him with my 2yr old son. I wondered what action I can take to ensure they keep their dog under control or muzzle it. The owners of the other dog seem to have a constant list of reasons as to why it is my fault - my dog is on the lead, my dog is not castrated etc I attend obedience and agility classes with my dog and he is never aggressive to any dogs there.
