It is more common on the East Coast than any where else because the sailors bred the cats with extra toes in hopes that they would be better mousers on the ships.

As for him being worth anything, it is really doubtful as they are pretty common. Enjoy him! He is a great conversation starter if nothing else. I would anyway.

Ignore the people who are being hateful. I have noticed that, that is pretty common on here, too.

I don't think a kitten with 6 toes in worth any money. If it doesn't bother him, then leave it alone. I had a cat that had 6 toes and she was perfectly healthy until she passed away.

No it's not worth money. It is somewhat common in cats from the eastern USA. There is a name for it. Sometimes the sixth claw can be somewhat uncontrolled and get stuck in things. If this happens keep them trimmed or ask your vet what to do.

No, a six toed cat is not worth a lot of money. But I do recommend you give it up to someone as you are obviously not mature enough to care for it.

well for a cat to have 6 toes is pretty common, but i dont see why you would trade an animal that you love for money

The formal name is MANX. I owned 2 cats like this. My cats had no tails and six toes on each paw.

They are not worth big bucks.
I have had several in my life time and the only thing I found was they were able to draw a lot of curiosity from people whom came over.
Hope this helps.

Six toed cats are more common than people know and are not really worth a lot of money.
Just care for and enjoy your cat.

you don't deserve a pet if it is worth a lot of money or not. It is stupid to get rid of something/someone if you just want money. I think you are really selfish
