I have a 4 year old manx cat, she is very gentle and soft (and yes I admit I treat her like baby) however recently it appears that her way of communicating is to cry. she cries for attention, food, to go out, if she thinks you should be upstairs, if she wants you down stairs. She recently went into Kennels and while she was a little demanding before than since she came out it has been ridiculous.

Now do not get me wrong I love me cat to bits so only humane answers please. But is there anyway I can shut her up. I have tried ignoring her, but it doesn't work. I CAN NOT do anything cruel (hit, lock out, etc) so please don't make these kinds of suggestions, but does anyone have any suggestions for training - like dog training or child training? Basically to get me cat to stop crying all of the time.

My husband of 12 1/2 years has learned to eat a few new things, however, he is still pretty limited. He will eat potatoes, green beans and corn. As far as meats go, beef, chicken and pork. We have 3 children who are willing to try new things but are pretty set in liking just the basics too. When serving dinner I try to do two green veggies, green beans for husband and something else for the rest of us. After cooking dinner almost every night for what seems like forever, I would love to try some new things that everyone might like. All help appreciated!

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Teenagers often suffer emotional consequences from having sex, even when it's "only" oral sex, a study published Monday suggests.

Researchers at the University of California San Francisco found that up to one-half of the sexually active teenagers in their study said they'd ever felt "used," guilty or regretful after having sex.

Though such feelings were less common among teens who'd only had oral sex, about one-third reported some type of negative consequence.

Dr. Sonya S. Brady and Bonnie L. Halpern-Felsher report the findings in the journal Pediatrics.

The study, according to the researchers, suggests that parents should be sure to talk with their kids about the potential negative effects of having oral sex, not only intercourse.

"When parents and teens talk about the consequences of having 'sex,' they may not take the time to define what sex is," Brady and Halpern-Felsher noted in comments to Reuters Health.

Girl in office keeps giving blow by blow account of her boyfriends dads illness. I wouldn't but she only met the dad a couple of weeks ago. She's doing my head in. The plugs are for my ears or the rope is for My neck. Maybe I need both.

I've been in a realationship with this guy for about a year and month now. He used to live down the street but now he lives three hours away. I really do care about him alot but i'm not so sure I love him anymore but i don't want to let go. What makes it worse is were grounded from talking on the phone with each other so were limited to e-mailing and texting each other. It seems as though i'm the only one texting or e-mailing though. I think were falling apart or i'm just falling from him. We have never had a serious fight. then there's this guy here...who I had a crush on last year before i was with my boyfriend. He made me his friend on myspace and now I have a massive crush on him. We never talked ever really excepted for at summer p.e. 2 years ago. and every time we see each other we say hi and thats it. We are making small talk on line and I really do think I have a chance with him...but I really don't want to make a mistake by breaking up with my current boyfriend. What do I do

The scientific method is empirically based. One creates a hypothesis, sets up an experiment with a control, and observes, and checks one’s findings against that hypothesis.
It seems to me that the claim “Science disproves God’s existence,” over steps the boundaries of what science actually can do. One cannot observe a spiritual being, or set up experiments to “test” if He is there. Would any one who holds the position that “Science disproves God’s existence” care to explain how the scientific method is able to address questions pertaining to God’s existence?

The dog is 2 years old, potty trained, and has never had problems with accidents in the house. Lately, he has been using the restroom on the carpet (#1 and #2) EVERY single time we leave the house. We always take him out and give him ample time to use the restroom before we leave. Even if he goes potty outside, we leave for 30 minutes, come back and he has managed to leave ANOTHER present on the floor. I tried a crate a few months ago (for chewing) and he would cry the entire time we were gone (got complaints from neighbors). I have tried just about everything. I reward him when he does potty outside. I clean the mess up with vinegar. I take him for walks before I leave.

I feel like he is doing this as a retaliation for being left alone (since he is a pound puppy and has seperation anxiety.) What else can I be doing to stop this? Do I just keep the reward/clean up system going....because so far it's not working.

I have a blind date this week that a family member is setting me up with and I'm thinking what would be a good thing to do on this date. I definitely don't want it to be a dinner date, because those last too long and I want to be able to end it short if I'm not really into the person. I was thinking that a bar may be good, as long as they're not playing music so loud that we won't be able to hear each other speak. I also don't want us to go to the movies, since the whole point of a first date is to get to know each other, and that's kind of hard to do while staring at the movie screen for 2 hours. Please, I need advice!
