If two opposite vertices(where diagonal joins the opposite vertices) are known, then you could use distance formula. Let vertices be P(x1,y1) and Q(x2,y2). Then, d(PQ)=sqrt[ (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2 ] If you want to find equation of the diagonal, then find slope and use slope-point formula.
