I'm not saying he's proposing or anything. But he mentions marriage - mostly in a joking way, but I can tell he's kind of serious. We haven't been together but a couple months. Should I be nervous, or do you think that maybe he's just ready for a greater commitment?

every report on global warming always cuts to a picture of cars driving they hardly never show you the factories with gas pipes over a foot wide consuming resorces at a fantastic rate per minute just to manufacture us some washing machine or tv
then again we arnt supposed to knock the corporate machine are we
we as individualls are always told to conserve and cut back
do these so out of touch politicians think we have money to burn many people are struggleing to pay the bills as it is and certainly dont waste energy on purpose
its not the workers who put factories out of town and its not by choice we all spend time travelling to a job miles from home
big business has caused this problem consolidating workforces into regional factory units causing people to travel further to work
and the government cant see this they think we actully drive all that far to work for fun .

My 17 month old daughter, we found out today has an ear infection in one of her ears. The doctor however refused to prescribe her an antibiotic because she said that it will go away on its own. According to her my daughter was not sick enough!
I was under the impression that ear infection should be treated immediately. Has anyone been through something like this? Should I try treat her with homeopathy.

I have thin hair on the top of my head due to wearing buns all my life that were pulled back pretty tight as well as semi bald spots on the sides of my head due to genetics I think...I have tried Organic Root Stimulator' s Fertilizing Serum and Temple Balm but had to stop because when used as prescribed they actually effected my skin along my hairline so that was the end of that. I have asked pharmacists about Rogain...but was informed that after you stop the hair falls back out...what should I do? I'm thinking of using the Rogain anyway and then slowly but surely stop using it...or I'm thinking of seeing a dermatologist as a last resort. What do you think I should do and if this story is familiar to you and you found a product that restored your hair what was it?

18 months ago I had a spot come up on my cheek and it got infected, took a long time to heal, scabbed over and left me with a slightly indented, bright red mark. Some people say it is a scar and some say it is pigmentation, whatever it is, it is not fading. I have tried so much stuff; glycolic acid peels, crystal clear microdermabrasions, bio-oil, palmers scar serum...the list is endless.

To be honest, I am struggling to cover it up. Normal concealer makes it look like I have an orange patch on my cheek. It is really noticeable and has dented my confidence. I have to have makeup when my partner is over or the lights off so he cant see it. I have endless nights or tears because my face is ruined. It has really caused me to lose a lot of confidence and I hate what i see in the mirror.

Can anyone recommend anything or have you been there before?

I am with this man of 41,I am 24 and I love him to bits, however I am on a college course in Cardiff, for the next 4 months and have been here for the last2 months,he says he is hands on and want sex all the time and as i am not there he has these 3 women he merely has sex with,I am down here carrying his baby, and he tells me as i know he is hands on and I do not give it to him for example go down the weekend and spend it only with him,he has these women and i confronted him about them,he knows it tears my soul apart. I already have a 4 year old,an dit would not be fair on trudging him up and down each weekend and anyway i can not afford it. I have not seen another man since being here and i like sex too but it is not right.
Its difeerent with him,he says, he has no job and according to him its all about me,i want him to give up these women but do not give him sex so why should he give up something he likes.I try and see him 4-5 hours when in london occasionally its not enough for him

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his English class one day.

"In English," he said, "A double negative forms a positive. In some
languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative.

However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative."

A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right."

I would bet that I could lay the most rabid verses of the Koran next to those of the Bible and you would not be able to choose one from the other.

It's like the difference between Coke and Pepsi. Blindfolded, you'd not be able to tell them apart.

True?
