i'm a scholar. every month, i receive stipend (money). our stipends are categorized according to our status in life but some of us are cheating to receive higher money than they deserve. what i mean in my question is that: Why is it better to have the categorization in our stipends?? OR what are the benefits in having the said categorization?? next week, we are having a debate in our school so please answer this question...

You get to learn how to spend wisely.
You become street smart.
You become more creative in your ways. Example: you make stuff you would otherwise buy (cards, cakes, etc).

I can't see any benefit in categorizing people, that's what it is isn't it??? That's low. What, so if you're from wealthy origins you get more money, or other way round?? Either way it's still low. Why not base the categories on merits earned and work done?? People need money to exist, its a basic need. Why punish the less desirable categorized people simply for being???
