i think you will find that there both types of broadband..... what i think your saying is dsl, adsl or cable? so I'd then go for cable because its faster

DSL is a concept and ADSL is its implementation. Similarly broadband is a measure of the bandwidth which can be provided by multiple technologies - DSL, Cable, Satellite communication and so on.

Choose ADSL technology if you are located nearer to the local exchange. In case of cable, the bandwidth available to you is actually shared with many other users who are located between you and the service provider. Satellite is very expensive.

My recommendation would be for ADSL
