I'm not saying he's proposing or anything. But he mentions marriage - mostly in a joking way, but I can tell he's kind of serious. We haven't been together but a couple months. Should I be nervous, or do you think that maybe he's just ready for a greater commitment?

maybe he is falling in love and is feeling you out to see what your thoughts are on the relationship and marriage in general. Perhaps he is a person that is looking to be with someone who shares his goals and has similar values in life and is trying to find out if that is you.....good luck

This is an hypothetical!Do not be carried away with sweet talk,study him if possible get some informations about is past love life it could be is habbit to drive a woman cracy and thereafter get out but if your findings shows that he is a serious type give him attention at least to have some sense of belonging.Usually,men who talk of marriage at the beginning of any relationship are not seen to be serious and this has been proved over time but sometime 5% of them can realy be said to have been fruitful. No joke talk in marriage if is serious tell him to hit the nail on the head but don't show to him that you are desperate.

some people go dating because they want to get married in the end and they are committed to marriage. in my view, it could be that he want to know your views about marriage and ur values. you dun have to be nervous because although you have not been going out long but i'm sure at least at some point of time, u will need to think about things in this area.

Do not be nervous at all... Enjoy it and if he discusses it ask him if he is serious or not. He may very well be ready now but do not rush him or push him into it... Trust me when he is serious and pops the question you will know!
