On the show Dr. 90210 they often show the Anesthesiologist injecting a white drug into the patients before surgery. They always mention on how amazing it is, and I'm just curious on what it's called.

I don't watch Dr. 90210, but that sounds a lot like Propofol (nicknamed "milk of amnesia"), commonly used around the world for induction/maintenance of anesthesia during same-day procedures (like cosmetic surgery) because of its lack of post-anesthetic nausea and vomiting.
