Why must doctors be forced to subscribe to golfing magazines???...

My doctor doesn't even PLAY golf!...and still the AMA and the California Medical Association pressure him to have NOTHING but golfing magazines in his lobby and patient room at all times!...

They made him cancel his subscriptions to:Martha Stewart Living, Road and Track, Car and Driver, Sunset, etc. and signred him up for golfing lessons(which he tried to cancel out on, but got threatened w/ his medical license revocation if he did that!)...

Also, why the strictly-enforced stereotype of doctors playing golf on Wednesdays?...

Everyone always argues that it is better for children to be with happily divorced parents than unhappy parents, but this comes from the parents. I would like to hear from children of divorced parents if they believe divorce is a better option when parents do not get along and specially of there is some form of abuse towards on of the parents.

am married b4 2 years.I had a miscarriage b4 6 months.Now i am trying to conceive but no hopeful result.I consult Gynea, he do Xray and no problem in that and gave chlomid tablet to 3 months.After he will start next step treatment.in between my mother went to see my Horoscope.In that as per my astrology i will have baby only at 2009.So no use in trying now or doing treatment.

But now i totally confused whether i have to continue with the treatment or believe in horoscope and must wait for 2 more years?

so my sister just had a baby tonight - 2 hours ago a little girl - and my 3 year old daughter is dying to see her new cousin. shes even crying but the hospital will not allow children under 12 on the maternity floor due to flu season - now heres my question, do they not think that people older than 12 can carry illnesses in? am i wrong?

Okay my best friend Glenda is 13. She had a baby about 10 months ago and her mom gave her up for adoption. A local foster parents adopted her,her sister, and her baby. She cares for the baby and loves it dearly. She brings it to the mall and everything, she reagrets having the baby but loves it dealry and i can only imagine how hard it is on her. Friday she came to me crying and I asked her what was wrong. She said her foster mom was going to try and adopt her baby because she didn't think Glenda was ging a good job raising it, even though Glenda raises her daughter just fine. She went down to guidence to talk to the counsler and call her older foster mom who lives about two hours away. I had to leave school early so I dont know what happened after that. Ive been sick all week but today my best friend told me she hasnt been in school all week. Im really nervous for her and I hope she and her baby are okay because I know how much that baby means to her. Can her foster mom take her baby?

I have an older set of frames, but I just got new updated prescription lenses put in a few months ago. The finish on the metal is starting to wear away, and sometimes the bottom of the frames touch my cheeks and leave green marks on them! *lol*

I really don't want to have to shell out for another set of frames. I also bought a new set of glasses at the time I got these lenses updated. I like the older pair better, so don't want to be committed to only the other new set.

I've asked a few eyeglass places and either they don't really have an answer whether it's possible to refinish them, or I've been told that it used to be done fairly commonly, but now they don't know anyone who does it any more. One more example of our disposable society, I guess! Or a way to force us to pay for new frames each time.

Anyway, I'm wondering if there's a way I can do it on my own so that the exposed metal no longer leaves marks on my cheeks.
