tricky question. even though liqids and gases both share the name of "fluids" dont let the name fool you. it just mans that they take the shape of their container. to answer you question i'll ask one of my own: whats the distinction between the 3 states?(or what is the exact seperation between a solid&liquid) some argue glass is a VERY dense liquid, if you hang glass from a ceiling and wait a hundred years, the botton of the glass will becone thicker and the top thinner
