Both parents were alcoholics. I don't have any friends to hang out with so when I go out and get really drunk and feel like a make a fool out of myself. I used to live in a large city and my drunken behavior was normal, but now I live in a very small town and people think I'm some kind of wild woman.. I don't know what to do. Many of my so called buddies won't hang out with me because I get too rowdy, but I don't know how to control my alcohol. The worst part is I bartend and these makes it hard cause all the people I know are from the bar.

my b/f's and i have been together for 3 years and we both have i girl from previous relationship. His daughter lives with her mom and is spoiled and it shows. She demands everything and he gives it to her. I gave them both trouble the other day and said they were in time out and could not have cookies, but he came in and let only her out and gave her a cookie. I how ever did not give in with my girl and but tried to explaine how it was wrong but i am the bad guy. He will not lister to me and says he does not get to see her so thats why. They are both 6. Now my daughter is starting not to like him. And his dont like me. What do i do?

Let me first start off by saying: I'm Confused!!

There's a guy I met not too long ago at my church who I befriended. One Sunday, we were designated as the primary organizers of the annual "Nursing Home Visit" program [Hence, this is how he got my number]

To make a long story short, any time we talk, we can go on from as little as 30 minutes to hours--just talking. In fact, recently we were both coming from a church program and happened to be getting on the same bus ----and we BOTH missed our bus stops because we were so focused on our conversation with one another. Any time we talk, it just -flows.

He's not drop-dead gorgeous or something out of a magazine, but he's certainly Not ugly.

Any advice?

I've painted a 'feature wall' in my bedroom (the one behind the bed) a gorgeous dark aubergine colour, and it's worked really well. Now I want to do the same in my sitting room, which is currently magnolia. However, I'd love to do 2 opposite walls this time. Should I do the 2 long walls or the 2 short walls (I don't want to make the room look closed in).
