If your the only one in the house that's cold, it means your circulation needs checking out, (That's blood circulation not central heating circulation)
BTW a thermostat switches the heating on or off, a thermometer tells you what the actual temperature is.
I don't want to go into gory details but my blood circulation had to be sorted, you may get away with aspirin to thin it out, but its worth going and having it checked out.
Alternatively wear a pair of thick woolly socks in bed!

I get like that too. You might be going through some hormone changes, but it depends with age though. Or, it could be that you have bad circulation too.
But, to keep warm....try making yourself a heated pad by using an old sock and filling it up with rice. Tie a knot at the end and place it in the microwave for a good minute or until the sock is really warm. Make sure you don't heat it up too hot! That should warm your feet!
Plus, your husband might want one to keep him warm too! (smile)

I take it that when you say no ice on the coils you are referring to the inside coils right behind the air filter not the outside coils. If the ac is low on freon the inside coils will freeze up and stop the cold air from coming out. If it is very low on freon then the compressor will shut itself down to protect itself. On the other hand if the outside coils are very dirty then the heat cannot escape and the compressor will shut down to protect itself from high head pressure. Make sure the outside coils are clean and not clogged with dirt or leaves. My facility has units from a tiny one ton unit (12,000 BTUs) to a garage size 90 ton unit to everything in between.

like the idea wear socks, put on a hat and wrap yourself in a blanket.

I get cold like that too. Try cuddling up in a heating blanket. It works for me. I also noticed that if my feet are cold, the rest of me are freezing... Maybe a nice hot foot bath? It couldn't hurt...

wear socks to bed. When you're cold, your body automatically keeps your bodyheat in the center of your body to protect your organs, and that's why your hands and feet get cold. Wear socks to bed and get a nice heavy blanket.

Cold also affects me. What I do is have a cold drink. Seems silly,I know but it slightly lowers body temp. and I feel warmer.
The same is true for me when it's hot, I have a hot drink, and feel cooler.
Hope it works for you, it did for me.
