The Drake equation states that:

N=R* x fp x ne x fl x fc x L

where:

N is the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which we might expect to be able to communicate at any given time

And

R* is the rate of star formation in our galaxy
fp is the fraction of those stars that have planets
ne is average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets
fl is the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life
fi is the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent life
fc is the fraction of the above that are willing and able to communicate
L is the expected lifetime of such a civilization

(x = times)

Put numbers in see what you get, then 1 in N chance of alien life out there.

Now we need to find a safe and convent way to travel between the stars and then those will be come the odds of meeting others.

It honestly depends on what your definition of Alien is... they found that specimen on Mars, which hints at life, and I believe they found evidence of water on Saturn (I think it was Saturn) But I actually do believe we are not the only beings, because the universe it too big to have only ONE planet with beings. As for where they are... probably not ready to let us know they are there. I don't think the world is ready for them. It would be disastrous. We just aren't open-minded enough for them yet. Well, sorry it that didn't help. It was just my honest opinion. Have an awesome day! :)

No. There aren't any other beings out there in that endless space that is filled with planets and stars. And, no there aren't any aliens visiting us. There isn't a piece of evidence that proves any aliens exist. Sorry to disappoint you.

I believe they found evidence of microbial life on mars, so yes, aliens do exist, they live on mars, and they are very small. If you're looking for aliens with blasto rays and levitation cows, then you might have to wait awhile.

i thing they don't exist but if they exit then they would have been somewhere very far from us . if they r able to find our planet then it becomes seriously very difficult to have common sharing with them. but if we r able 2 find them then it's sur that we will win and for that we all have to make earth really a family where one is able to give everything for the sake of earth. and i thionk god or whosoever u think had made the earth - the beautiful planet would not let us die or slaves of someone else. ithink u should not be so worried about it because we human beings have the greatest power of the universe i.e. brain.

the possibility of life existing elsewhere in the universe is mathematically possible, they might have a totally different elemental evolutionary composition, either that or they could be intradimensional, capable of passing through dimensional planes, traversing through any point in space,or they could be the final evolution of humans in the future visiting their past
