if you are buying the computer parts as a package, it is advisbale you let the shop person assemble it for you as collecting a new computer part after returning a defect 1 can take a very very long time.

i recommend intel and gigabyte mb and cpu chip speed above 3.5 Ghz.

as for the memory, 2 Gb is minimal and recommended.

ps: remember to collect the warranty card for the computer parts.

intel, MB are use to p4 processor , xeon mother board are use for best in dual processor u can put any ram on that , i must be more than 2 gb.

it varies, first you pick your processor, than you pick a board that supports that procsessor(socket type and buss speed) if its dual core make sure the mb supports it! now the mb specs will tell you what memory to use,
