so in my home, there is a huge jar of M&Ms, a jar of peanuts, and a box of crackers out in the open.
my mom won't let me hide them, so everytime i walk by them, i feel tempted to eat some. and i can't exactly not walk by them, because if i'm moving from one room to the other, i see them. and once i start eating them, i just keep eating and eating and eating them.
what are some things i can do mentally to stop myself from falling into the food trap?
i've tried writing about how food makes me feel, and how certain junk foods make me feel, and it does work. but only for a short amount of time. what else can i do?
