Were they wrong for being selfish and not thinking of my safety? or was I for wanting to finish getting ready?

I got a discount hotel room through my work for a concert in Grand Rapids for me, my bf, his roommate, bro and sis. My bf's friends had two other rooms. Show gets cancelled so we decide on bars that night. Everyone does their own thing at the hotel until about 10pm. After swimming, I jump in the shower and the other (drunk) group calls us when I get out and says they are going out in 10 min. I can't leave since my hair is wet and I'm not ready yet. I ask my group to stay and they all say no and that I'm being a baby. So I stay there by myself to get ready. bf asks if i'll be ok. i say i'm a big girl I can take care of myself. My bf leaves me his sis's cell to get directions. I was ready 20 min after they left. So bf calls me right after I leave the hotel and get directions from the valet. Bf offers directions and I say I already have them and end the call abruptly because I'm pissed. I get to the bar and everyone compliments me on how I looked (since I took the time to look nice).

my mother has type 2 diabetes and she wants to go on the juice fast diet she wants to know if this is a bad idea due to her diabetes? and if so is there any way she could still do the diet without harming herself? your coments will be greatly appreciated!

How do I get a replacement title in the state of Missouri?

I need a replacement title but I do not live in Missouri, but the car is registered in Missouri. The Missouri DMV website is too confusing and I can't find the info I need. Thanks for helping.

Missing pokemon in firered version?

My 8 yr old is playing this game, pokemon fire red version, He has completed the game, yet is shy alot of pokemon. He has a total of 126, sounds like he will need 150... how does he get them? He said he didn't end up getting snorlax, chansey, or that rare bird.. the electric one ( one in the power plant) now, does he need to play the game all over again to get the 150? also, I have been reading about this cable, wireless stuff? what exactly does it mean? I went to wal - mart tonight and they had no idea what I was talking about. plus, I thought I read somewhere he needs this leaf green version, I went to buy that... again, wal- mart didn't have it.So do I have to get it? Again, he's only 8 so he has no friends who are working on this if he needs to trade with them, ( I thought i read that somwhere too) ... HOW DOES ALL THIS WORK?? my little guy is going crazy, I just want to help, but man, have video games changed since I was a kid... old school nintendo for me lol I'm lost. help pls.

Are you happy that Starbucks plans switch to growth-hormone-free milk?

Starbucks Corp. on Tuesday said it is aiming to make the milk and other dairy products it serves in its U.S. coffee houses free of a controversial artificial growth hormone used in dairies to increase milk production.

The move comes after Starbucks was targeted in a campaign by consumer groups critical of the use of an artificial hormone known as rBGH, which is given as a supplement to dairy cows to increase milk production.

The dairy products involved include fluid milk, half-and-half, whipping cream and eggnog.

There is no similar move for overseas locations because the supplement is not allowed in most other nations.

Are you happy with this change or not bothered? I reckon it's about time!

Do you think that mental health issues should be considered disabilities?

Where I live there is a program for people who have medical problems and can't work. However, my best friend who has depression and anxiety does not qualify. He wanted to go on it because with his problems it is extremely difficult to hold down a job (fear of being around people, lack of energy, feeling sick all the time, etc.). He wanted the financial backing while he received some really in depth care for his problems so he could return to work, and actually KEEP a job. They said that mental health problems were not disabilities, and he didn't qualify. Also, he works with two people who are on the program with different physical problems, & they can work more hours, & they make more money than he does at his best, but they still qualify. I don't feel it is fair, but I want to know outside opinions. Feel free to disagree with me, but do you feel that mental health problems should be considered disabilites under certain circumstances?

3 mo old dobie wont eat?

We have had her for 6 weeks, and she would eat 3-4 times a day and eat alot of food, i mean like 2 1/2 cups at a time. But now she is 3 mo old and she will only eat 2x a day and then she will pick at her food. She wont eat all of it, or even most of it. Should I be worried? I mean you cant see her ribs and she weighs 16 lbs. Her pics are here so i will prove she isnt starved or obese. Serious answers only please.

What animal parts could be used to construct a material or to be used as a material?

Don't give answers like, "use fur to make coats". Try answers that are not widely used or popular, or something that hasn't been done before. Give ideas that may be possible.

One example is, "get a strong thread from a mussel and use it as a rubber".

Why does the U.S. deny homosexuals the right to get married?

The United States is one of the countries in the world that denies same-sex couples the right to get married. Why is that? By doing so we are not only hurting our citizens, but we are hurting our economy. It is cheaper to file taxes as single rather than married, yet couples want to register as married and the U.S. won't allow it. Also, the U.S. brags about being a free and fair country. It doesn't seem like the U.S. is living up to that reputation. The U.S. is suppposed to be the role model for other countries. How is what is going on fair?

Does what high school one goes to matter that much in the long run?

I go to a highly acclaimed and awarded, but public, high school. I have a friend that goes to an incredibly highly acclaimed private school. Now, I plan to go to Stanford University, and I was wondering if me going to a public school would decrease my chances of acceptance into college, and later into a good job?
