How do I get a replacement title in the state of Missouri?

Question

I need a replacement title but I do not live in Missouri, but the car is registered in Missouri. The Missouri DMV website is too confusing and I can't find the info I need. Thanks for helping.

you may have to go apply for it in person,sometimes they do require you to do this,,in person,when trying to get a title for one,,this way they know the owner is the one getting the title,,other wise it would be real easy for thief's to get a title for your car,,good luck ,i hope this help,s.
