Bring friends to follow and keep an eye. just dont talk to them when you meet with the person cause they will think youre wierd. talk to the guy and tell your friends to folllow whereeer you might go so to keep an eye for anything bad to happen. if so they can help you out. just tell them to keep it on the down low pretending that they are a group of friends happeneing to be around you. safer that way. NEVER meet someone for the first time alone!!

Ask him how he feels about you bringing a friend. Meet in a busy place, let someone know where you are meeting him, what he drives, what he looks like and that you will call them when you get there and when you meet him. If you go alone let him know that you have agreed to call someone when you meet, and they will want to speak with him. If he is not ready to agree with this then ask him to reschedule when he is ready.

Bring a couple with you. That way this person you are meeting won't feel overwhelmed by your friends and you won't feel so vulnerable. Make arrangements in advance to go home with this couple as well. Safety first.

If you do not feel safe or are uncomfortable than bring a friend or two, just make sure the person your meeting understands why there are going to be others there.

Go alone. That would be awkward for the other person. Unless you make plans to have a group date type of thing.

When ever my friend and I go out with someone new we always explain to our date once he arrives to pick us up that we need to give his license plate number and cell phone number to a friend just in case and we also explain to him that we have check in times that we must contact our friend and our friend will contact us. Must guys understand that we are only taking precautions and they just laugh it off.

There was only one time when a guy who I was going to go out with did not want to give out his license plate number or cell phone and I would not go out with him.

You never know, better to be safe then sorry there are to many wierdo's out there!!!!!!!!!
