My husband's mother's middle name was Marie, and we would like to give our first daughter the same middle name. We are just having a hard time picking a first name that sounds good with it. So I would appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

im the person with the warrent out and have huge debt but keep running.

my children are 2yrs and 9mths so they dont understand. im 19years old. i have also bounced a few cheque books knowing they wont clear as i saw my mum get away with doing this and this is why im running.

before anyone calls my stupid. i do realise this now but i was naeive and thought id get away with it and pay off a bit off a week. but it's got too far for me to pay off as i spoke to pi and he said that the bank will not let me pay off as they know i cant afford this as its such a huge amount.

also, i cant go bankrupt as i dont have anything to go bankrupt with. i have no savings and at the mo we get help off dole as my partner is doing a plumbing course so we no longer have to have this help off dole and im a full-time housewife as i can tafford kids to go into nusrsery while i work.

this is bad and was wondering how far would the judge go with this if i was to hand myself in, regarding ive ran

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea
and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a
small, desert like island. The two survivors, not
knowing what else to do, agree that they had no
other recourse but to pray to God.

However, to find out whose prayer was more
powerful, they agreed to divide the territory
between them and stay on opposite sides of the
island.

The first thing they prayed for was food. The next
morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on
his side of the land, and he was able to eat its
fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained
barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely and he
decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another
ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman
who swam to his side of the land. On the other side
of the island, there was nothing.

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes,
more food. The next day, like magic, all of these
were given to him. However, the second man still
had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that
he and his wife could leave the island. In the
morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the
island. The first man boarded the ship with his
wife and decided to leave the second man on the
island. He considered the other man unworthy to
receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers
had been answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man
heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you
leaving your companion on the island?" "My
blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who
prayed for them," the first man answered. "His
prayers were all unanswered and so he does not
deserve anything."

"You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him. "He
had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for
that, you would not have received any of my
blessings.

"Tell me," the first man asked the voice, "what
did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."

For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits
of our prayers alone, but those of another praying
for us.

When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of
you!

I love music. Everywhere I go, I have my mp3 player. I need my music when I'm on the go if not I go nuts... lol I like to listen to it loud, not too loud though so that people can her it when I have my earphones stuck in my ears. A couple of months ago I noticed that I would make people repeat themselves coz I didnt hear them properly... So I went to get my ears examined. Funny enough, they say my hearing is fine... but I know someting isn't. Now I listen to my music at a lower volume. Even though I do that, I still can't hear properly and its frustrating!!! Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks alot

This is a follow up to my question of 30 minutes ago, I was trying to understand definition of "atheist" here.
I'm awed by the sheer number of responses, including some that really clear up my confusion, for which I'm grateful.
But why all the vitriol? This was an honest question (no, I haven't see the other discussions about this, I'm pretty new here), is it impossible to ask a sincere question here without all the flaming? Maybe I'm completely wrong about this, but it feels like there are some awfully angry folks out there looking for an outlet to vent.
