The door is located behind the glove box. This door is operated by a cable. If you move the slider from cold to hot, you should hear it moving if you stick your head down in the floor, and up toward the firewall. Some vehicles have a heater control valve that is located in the heater hose under the hood on the passenger side, and it works by vacuum. Most all blazers have a cable that moves the door. This cable can get out of adjustment, and you can't open the door all the way. If your heater is not getting hot enough, then maybe you are low on coolant, as this is usually the cause for one to not put out any heat. Feel the heater hoses to see if they are both hot. If they are not then go looking some place else such as the thermostat not working right, or low on coolant not letting it heat the heater core enough.
Glad to help you, Good luck!!!

Full size Blazer or S-10 Blazer?
Not an easy one, you basically have to take apart the heater box
the door is located in front of the heater core, it's operated by an electric actuator.
