I've seen this in older homes, usually located in the southern United States. I understand that Dutch homes were built with double front entrance doors too.

There are positives and negatives to fighting terrorism... One positive is Bush has pretty much told the terrorists they are going to die if Americans like it or not, but the negative are if we were to ignore their pathetic attempts at trying to get what they want, would they do it in the first place?
The killing of Americans was not just something the terrorists decided to do. No one seems to understand that their type of warfare is killing civilians in democratic states. We are who vote in this nation, so we are the ones who are responsible to not fear the bastards.
Now lets say hypothically the reason the terrorists planed the towers was because they wanted 10,000,000,000 dollars... Would you have paid them to save American lives? Do you realize that giving into their demands is a way of losing, and giving into demands will just give them reason to bomb again?

What happens if we tell the kidnappers to just shoot the hostage?
We're up to 6,000 deaths by terrorists. IGNORE!

the paternal grandmother had a stroke 4 yrs old and is paralyzed onthe right side of her body (65 yrs old). The grandfather and the girls were injured in a house fire on 12/26/06. They adopted the girls,but are now unable to PHYSICALLY care for the girls! Can I petition the courts for custody considerations. I have been in their lives for 3 yrs and they want to live with me. It's a long story. I just want what's best for my girls. Pls help and advise

My best friend is living with me and we don't always get along . we usually get into fights once a day. She is supposed to go home on the weekends and she doesn't . I mean she doesn't even help us out and give us money every once in a while and she has been living with us since last year.

I just installed power steering on an 1981 f100 pick-up. the power steering and pit-man arm came off a 4wd. I put it on a 2wd. the pit-man arm was larger on the 4wd but it was what I needed to fit the gearbox splines. now my alighnment looks to be off (as it is going to wear the outside of both front tires.) Question can a alighnment shop adjust this with the end links on the tie rod.

This whole anti-immigration idea because the Mexicans are somehow "illegal" is a lame argument. Slavery is wrong but it was legal in the US at one time. Was it wrong for the Patriot Saints who risked their lives in order to smuggle the slaves out of the South? Abortion is legal, but does that make it any less murder?
