I've had an investment for around 10 or more years that originally was setup by my grandmother and is still in hers and my mothers name. It's some type of bond or managed trust. It's tripled in value over that time.

If I cash it in, will I have to pay any tax on it?

I am a graphic designer and was creating samples of my work to send to companies. I was using a previous sample as a template and I tried deselecting something in Photoshop CS2, but hit CTRL+S instead of "D". Is there anyway to get my work back?! I have a windows XP operating system. I tried undoing, but couldn't go back far enough.

Short Story:
I have no TV(and don't want to get one)
I do have a new flat screen computer monitor.

I would like to purchase a home theater system & plug in my computer monitor so that I can watch DVDs on a larger screen(as opposed to my laptop - which is where I currently watch DVDs)

Is this possible? If so -
What specifically would the "specs" of the monitor need to be?

I have a dell inspiron 1501,

it has the amd sempron 3500+ processor =\

i have a shop close by me that sells the amd turion X2,
im looking to put an amd turion processor in to the slot where the old one was...

but i just want to know some things if possible?:

1. is it a job to be done by professionals?
2. can it be done without disrupting anything
3. will it make it faster
4. will i need to change the motherboard.

They were my great-grandparents and I'm trying to find people who knew them. They immigrated from Russia to the Phillipines in about 1917 (they were menshevic), and from there to the U.S. in the forties. They have 2 children Alexis Sturmer and Natalie Hamel. Roman was a priest at the Green St. Russian Orthodox Church in San Fransisco and Xenia was the matushka. I would appreciate people who knew them to answer, and people who know any really good genealogy websites that deal with things other than U.S. immigration and death/birth certificates (I've tried Ancestry.com & Genealogy.com).

we've had him for alittle over a month. he's 6 months old. i've been working hard with him to try and get him house and potty trained. but i'm about at my witts end. i take him outside, NO JOKE, 10 times a day! and when i' can't watch him he goes in his kennel. but yet he still pisses and craps all over my house. now i could understand if he was dirty, or if my house was dirty. but i clean my house everyday, and he gets a haircut every 3 weeks, and i've bathed him 3 times since hes been here. he chews on all my stuff, my furniture is ruined. and i give him toys to play with. i just shampooed my carpet, and it looks like a reck again. hes not even 10 lbs. hes a small dog. sounds like i would have a german shephard living here. i just don't know what else to do. i'm thinking about giving him up if i can't get him trained soon. i'm a stay at home mom, so i'm here all the time. he gets all the attention he needs. i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

My daughter aged 21 is experiencing acute pain in her back and down both legs (I did write earlier today).
