For that one, I believe the add/remove works just fine. However for a more thorough cleaning, you can use the instructions here:

If you are relatively computer savy, or know someone who is, I highly suggest the Hijackthis utility. Instructions can be found here: http://www.castlecops.com/HijackThis.html

I have safely removed hundreds of those pesky search "assistants" using Hijackthis.

Being that I'm an ex Navy seal type, this is right up my alley. Here goes. Get yourself around 5-7 pounds of C-4. Pack it neatly around your computer, making sure you don't get any on the floor. Clear the area for around 1/4 mile. Get back, way back. Now detonate. That computer is now no longer a problem

Welcome to the world of Ad Ware.

To remove it from your computer:

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, select the 'My Search Bar' (MySearch variant), 'MyWay Speed Bar' (MyWay) or 'My Web Search Bar' (MyWeb) entry and click 'Remove'. For the MyWeb variant, be sure to also remove 'Fun Web Products Easy Installer'.

Open Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options, reset your home page (General > Home Page) and search settings (Programs > Reset Web Settings).(Internet Options->General->Start Page) if it has been changed, and search settings (Internet Options->Programs->Reset web settings).

If you are using windows xp.. perhaps try doing a system restore to a date that you did not have that tool bar installed.. I know I would be lost sometimes without that function.

Start your computer in safe mode. (Press F8 while booting and select safe mode from the menu) Then locate the files for the toolbar in my computer/c/program files and delete them manually. Then get yourself a copy of hijack this from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/. Run it and follow the directions.
