I downloaded a Windows Vista RC1 from the internet.. I know that the beta testing is over now but I want to know something. If I install this Vista RC1 on my computer and then suddenly change my mind to buy the genuine one and uninstall the RC1. Can I uninstall the RC1 like any other programs??

I got divorsed over a year ago. My ex moved out of state and rarely calls or visits my kids. This has been (understandably) extremely hard for my 7-yr-old. His dad calls and makes promises that he doesn't keep, he calls maybe once every 4 months. Sometimes he will even blame his irresponsibility on me. What can I do to help my son cope? He already had some psychological problems (not because he was difficult, which he wasn't) and he sees a therapist. He misses his dad but I feel helpless. I have gone out of my way to make the boys accessable to my ex. I offered to let him take them on my holidays,etc (I have full custody.) I can't make him be a better father but what can I do to help my son?)

I'm hoping someone can settle a row with my boyfriend who has very little understanding of computers and doesn't believe me when I tell him our Pipex connection is broken.

I ran a command prompt and pinged our wireless router. i got 4 packets sent, 4 packets received. My interpretation of this is that the router is working fine in terms of the PC connecting to the router. However, when trying to ping the BBC website for example, the response we get is Ping request could not find host. Please check the name and try again. We got this response from a number of websites over a period of time.

It is my understanding that the problem lies with our internet connection and not my PC or the router. Can someone please clarify this so my boyfriend can see it with his own eyes because being that I am female, he doesn't think it's possible I might know the correct answer when he doesn't!

PS! I am able to post this question as I have my own wireless 3g internet provider.

my husband is always acusing me of cheating.but,im always home with the kids.everytime i go somewhere,his aunt is following me.now,i found out,he is the cheater,and his aunt knew.what i did,i cursed them both out.picked up all his clothes,put em out,and kicked him out.now his family,is all against me saying,that he left,because im a cheater,and saying that,im trying,to ruin his life.heck,he acused me of cheating,why?if he was the one cheating.did i over do it?

my cousin has just had twins, when she was in hospital both babies were taking between 45 and 60 mls per feed, now she is home, they are only taking 1 ounce per feed, they seem happy but she is worried that they are not having the sufficient amount, any one have any ideads if this is normal, they were 4 weeks premature and weighed 5lb 4oz and 4lb 11oz is this normal?

My seventh grade daughter is going to begin a job-shadowing program this spring, but she doesn't yet know what she wants to "be when she grows up." She has a natural talent for drawing, and she's wonderful with little kids, so she thought perhaps an art teacher. But she wants to keep her options open, as well. She wants a career that's going to make her salary worth the time, money, and energy that she'll be putting into college, and she's heard that teachers don't really make that much money.

Can anyone give me some ideas of art careers and what they consist of? Any web sites would be helpful, too, that she could go to for a free assessment on her talents and passions. Thanks!

My husband left this week for Iraq and my 3 year old who has been potty trained for 2 months and has had no accidents started peeing in his clothes 3-5 times a day. I realize this is somehow related to his stress with the situation. I have tried pretty much everything. Being nice...Being upset...Offering an incentive if he does not pee in his clothes...Praising him when he goes in the toilet and asking if he needs to go several times....Nothing is working. I want to handle this the best way possible. Please let me know if you have dealt with this situation and what worked to stop it. Thanks.

How much do painters charge you to paint the inside of the house? a house with 7 rooms plus living room, large gameroom, kitchen, laundry room, 3 restrooms? thats how big my house is and its pretty big. So how much do you think they'll charge? then maybe what you think the average would be for average houses? i think they make decent money.
