My dad passed away Dec.10 of a heart attack we think and i am hurting so much cause i miss him he helped me out alot when i needed money he gave it to me and i miss him so much it hurts, people say it takes time

Can the "venturi effect" cause a nuclear sub to "rise" from underneath a 300,00 ton tanker" passing over?

You have a 6900ton submarine submerged traveling at slow speeds and a 300,000 ton tanker traveling at flank speed directly above on the surface. Can the tanker's movement cause the sub to "rise" to the surface and "strike" the tanker?

Don't you find the following statement absurd:

If what he is claiming is true, it is disgusting that we still have this idea that women are not capable of terrorizing their husbands in the same way that men can terrorize their wives. Just because a man is bigger doesn't mean his wife cannot be abusive. Some men are just not violent, believe it or not, and are afraid to do anything because she will likely not be arrested or charged.

Here is an interesting survey - more than 60% of women say it's OK to hit your husband, and more than 35% have done so.

Regarding AIDS.......?

Hey i got one question, let say someone who had AIDS, they used the first aid box, and let say their blood is being left in the medicine.. so if some other people use that medicine, will the be infected by the virus?

i know the virus will die within 15-20mins..... but can the virus servive in those medicine?

my ears are newly peirced i ahve a question about them?

they have been peirced for 2 days and they started bleeding i think yesterday and i didnt know it today until my friend is like it crusty with blood how do i prevent them from bleeding?and should i go to my school nurse to get alcohol because i forgot to put alcohol on them this morning

Charity at nursery?

She is 3 now. At least 3 times a year i get an envelope where she has to collect money on behalf of a charity. (they did it last year too, she was only doing 2 days a week then)
Always there is something attached to it at nursery. This time it is plant a spring bulb, last time it was fancy dress and the time before that it was a sponsored walk.
Now with this latest plant a bulb one it says on the envelope they can colour the pictures as they collect their money for charity. There is one flipping picture there so i will get her to colour it in and will give her a pound for her enveloppe. With a little note saying that the whole concept of cancer is rather difficult to explain to a 3-year old and so is the whole idea of charity.

What would you do? Harrass people for money through a 3-year old in the name of a cancer charity?
Or would you let her colour the one picture and put a £1 coin in as a token?

is there a way to install a program (a game) on a computer without having adminrights?

I just started taking zoloft again Does anyone know about how long it usually takes before any side effects?

I took zoloft years ago and it didn't seem to do much but I just started taking it for anxiety (not the same reason as before) and I usually experiance side effects from these kinds of meds. Is it possable that my brain has a memory of this med. and will respond quicker this time?

anyone know of a good way to know when you're ovulating?

We would like to start trying for a baby, and I know ovulation is key! Anyone know of a way to figure out when you're ovulating without the doc? Do the tests really work? I am starting to get frustrated, after 5 1/2 years with no protection whatsoever, we don't have a baby. I am going to try this method and then if still no, see a man about a horse, I mean, see a doc about a baby!
