Because he is still trying to convince St. Peter to go along with the paperless office system and this is the only way to prove that paper is indeed dangerous....

LOL, i just had a vision of you thorugh my imagination that you just cut yourself.
God usually does not practice Divine intervention Unless the person is worthy or Seen to be Holy and holy worthy of such greater gifts. This included Abundant Faith.
Otherwise the commercials that advertise credit cards with a guardian angel that is preoccupied seems to fit a more direct answer. Oftentimes I have heard of testimonies where God or some powerful angel has SAVED people from being destroyed in car crashes. but Myself i have come to learn the hard way, that God saves people From Death, even though they have died, he has the power and knowledge and ability to "cut and paste" a dead persons spirit back into the time line before that person officially died.
My testimony of being in my Grandfathers camper is Just one example of this very event.

God is not the decision maker on good vs. evil or safety vs. harm. Man must learn to tolerate things he doesn't like or live within the bounds of practical safety. There is an equal amount of good and harm we must gather knowledge and learn how to use it to remain healthy with safety. I would first realize ignorance allows for a belief in god.

No, what God did allow us was a brain to think on our own and to know how to hold paper correctly so that we wouldn't get cut. Matter of fact I cut my hand a few days ago, but I'm not blaming God because of it.

God gave man the choice of free will to do what we want and therefore cannot stop things from happening. he couldn't stop man from making paper in the first place, he couldn't stop you picking up the peice of paper either and when it cut you it was really your fault for doing it in the first place.
It is the fate man has put upon itself.

Because "God" (whoever that is) apparently gave us the free will to invent paper, but not the common sense to handle it properly.
