If you lived with your parents for over half of 2006 and you didn't provide over half of your total support for the year, then they might still be able to claim you as a dependent for 2006. If you didn't live with them, or lived with them for less than half of the year, then they can't.

You are correct, you will file as single, and can't file as head of household.

Just yourself. If you did your W-4s right at each place should be fine. Higher earning job should have been S1 & the other S0 - break even. Refund = interest free loan to govt so should never have 1.

Are you still a dependent (do you depend on them for food, clothes, money, etc.)? if so, they are probably including you on their tax form. If not, ask just to be sure, and then you can file yourself if they say no.

First you need to determine if your parents claim you as a dependant.
