Whenever another vegetarian or Vegan says anything the lest bit controversial such as meat eating is immoral, how can you stand to eat meat, or god forbid, I support the ALF, Some Vegetarian apologist is ready and waiting to right that person off for stating their beliefs.
Are some of you that insecure in the direction of our movement, if you can even call it a movement, that you feel the need to cater to the sensibilities of the masses and not offend anyone? I mean no one any disrespect, meat eater or vegetarian, but to discuss this issue means that some meat eaters and vegetarians might get their feathers ruffled a bit. Disagreements in ideology or tactics are fine, hell even desired. However, to have some Vegetarian apologist undermining others is frankly really annoying. Thoughts?

Ok so I have a question about the concept of prayer. Correct me if I am innaccurate, but don't Christians believe that God has already made up his mind about everything that is going to ever happen? I also assume that prayer is the act of asking God for a favor. However, if God has already decided what he's going to do, then isn't praying effectly asking God to change his mind and do what you want (assuming that what he has picked is the opposite of what you want).

I understand the meaning of prayer in the sense: "we all pray that you get better". In this case it could be equivalent to "we all want the best for you". However, why don't you just say "we all want the best for you" which is more accurate since it doesn't imply that what God has planned can be changed.

So is prayer nothing more than a social expression which has no real effect? I would like an explanation from Christians...

I'm re-doing my entire bathroom in my old house and the wiring is really screwy. I have power going through my ground and my hot... from what i understand this isn't very safe. I realize I've asked this many times before, but the answers seem to stall out after a while and I'm just trying to get some advice from a bunch of different people....
I've read many posts out there regarding different things that turn me on, but my wife won't go near them, (specifically stockings, high heels) and it seems like many on here really get into that.
Anyone out there know how to help me? (outside of any snide remarks regarding divorce, looking at adult images or movies; etc If we ever do go out..her heels are the first thing off when we get home...even if I try to sweep her off her feet. And this is not all about me...I am asking because we do things her way all the time..she's on top (which I don't mind) and its right before we go to sleep... I should note its only once maybe twice a week that anything actually happens at all.

I have been seeing this guy for about 2 years now. We have a daughter together. When I first found out I was going to have a baby he was really upset. He was really never there when I had her. Now she is going to be one and he has been coming over and sleeping here and telling me that he loves me. He also use to see this other girl and people tell me that he calls her all the time that he wants to be with her and he loves her. I just dont know what to do? We have a baby and I feel like we should be together. He always comes back to me.
