OK, I am coming to terms with the fact that I am indeed depressed. I need to make some changes, but don't want to take anti-depressants. I am already on meds for migraines, and don't want to take more. I sleep a lot, have lost interest in just about everything, have gained weight, lost self esteem, lost motivation to do anything. I don't want to work, don't want to shop, don't want to do anything except lay there like a log. I can hardly get myself up on the weekends.

What can I do to stop this cycle before it gets worse, and demands medical attention? I want ways that are alternatives to prescription drugs. Or illegal ones.

I am 16 years old and I got busted my my 18 year old sister when she walked in on me masturbating nude in the family room. I thought no one else is at home. he just started whining and not wagging it last night and i do not think that he got injured what would cause this to happen to him...should i call the vet or let it go and see if it heels it self on its own time? he seems fine otherwise.

Last night, after my boyfriend had just left for a brief errand, I heard someone trying to get into one of the doors in the basement. There were a few banging noises & thumps, but I wasn't sure if I had actually heard them or not.

I knew my bf would be coming back in about 30 minutes & I also know that I am prone to "hearing noises" when I'm alone & getting myself all worked up for no reason. So I didn't call him & called a female friend instead.

When the thumps happened softly again, I knew at that point that someone was trying to get in. Then I heard the door knob rattle. I checked outside & didn't see my bf's truck (& we don't use those doors).

Luckily, my bf showed up right before I called the police.

The noise turned out to be my cat, who had snuck into the "breaker" closet earlier when I had to flip a breaker, & instead of meowing like any normal cat, he thumped himself against the door & attempted to operate the door knob using his paws! I told him to meow next time!!

If my husband was to pass away, who would get custody of his daughter? He has full custody of her and has had full custody since she was almost a year old. I have been with him since she was three months old. She does see me as her mother. Is my husband allowed to choose who his daughter would go to if he would pass away?

I am hoping to have my ears pierced for the 4th holes. I was wondering if it is still OK to go to the places in the mall or if I should go to a tattoo/piercing shop this time 'round.
If I were going to pierce higher up on my ear I wouldn't think twice - I'd be at a tattoo/piercing place NOT the mall.
I guess my question is: at what point do I want the 'pros' to do my ear piercings???

I have a PC that uses the free antivirus software from SBC. The antispyware software does the scan in less than a minute. The antivirus software takes around 5 hours to do the scan. I do it every week. Is that normal? I have around 100k files. Is there any way of speeding things up? Thanks.

I arranged an after Christmas Rugby Match at my club and went to the pub afterwards with the opposing team. We are all good freinds, It was my round so I got up and went to the bar, where a man of about my age tried to pick a fight with me, I'm 6ft 4 and the guy was about 6 one or two. I ignored the taunts about my height and started to take the drinks over to my freinds whereby he tripped me up, I even ignored that and calmed my freinds down but when he spat in my face I lost it and hit him right on the button breaking his nose. I also put his two freinds out of action. My freinds escorted the guys out of the pub thankfully no police were called. The problem is I work in an office and am known for being soft as a lamb (that is my nature I don't hurt anyone physicaly or mentaly) The problem is this guy has started at my firm as graphics design Manager. Although not my line manager, could be. I'v seen him but he is not aware of me yet. What should I do?

I am at university f/t and in my final year. I am skint and in debt as all student nurses are. I moved home to live cheaper. My problem is that my mother has a live in partner who is a bully and control freak. He is the sort that bullies small guys and women. I go to bed and he purposley wakes me by stamping outside my door through the nights and hides my things so on..My mum wont do anything about it as she lives in denial (he is the same with her) I also have a partner who wont move out with me as he wont get a job as he wants to be a succesful artist (no money earning at all) He also wont allow me to live with anybody else(he is jealous) I cant pay my own rent anywhere as i only earn bursary and a small wage when I have time to work. I am being disturbed all the time whilst studying as I use comunal computers (he wont allow a computer at home) I am slowly being driven mad, any advice???
