I arranged an after Christmas Rugby Match at my club and went to the pub afterwards with the opposing team. We are all good freinds, It was my round so I got up and went to the bar, where a man of about my age tried to pick a fight with me, I'm 6ft 4 and the guy was about 6 one or two. I ignored the taunts about my height and started to take the drinks over to my freinds whereby he tripped me up, I even ignored that and calmed my freinds down but when he spat in my face I lost it and hit him right on the button breaking his nose. I also put his two freinds out of action. My freinds escorted the guys out of the pub thankfully no police were called. The problem is I work in an office and am known for being soft as a lamb (that is my nature I don't hurt anyone physicaly or mentaly) The problem is this guy has started at my firm as graphics design Manager. Although not my line manager, could be. I'v seen him but he is not aware of me yet. What should I do?

i'm Irish and proud and that i admit it turned right into a nasty ingredient that happened in 1920. i have lived in England, Australia, u . s . of america and now lower back in eire so I honestly have an theory of what Irish human beings imagine. I grew to grow to be very patriotic after I left eire yet i think that it truly is basically yet another reason for individuals to get on their extreme horse and moan and whinge. i might want to assert there are some households strolling round in Northern eire who bump into the killer of one among their kinfolk contributors. will we no longer learn from them and substances up the complaining. sure it turned right into a nasty ingredient that happened yet i ask your self if those those who died in 1920 were alive at present might want to they be so outspoken or might want to they pick some peace in this u . s .? If some thing occurs on saturday which probably might want to it will be the moaners fault for escalating the concern. And sure sunflower is sweet. The English nationwide anthem become performed in the previous in Croke park on the particular Olympics in 2003. So if a majority of those individuals are so adamant that it really is going to no longer be in Croke Park, the position were they then??

Ignore him unless he causes an issue. It was not work related and he obviously asked for the response he got. Hes probably sitting there thinking "I'm an idiot, i hope that guy doesn't recognise me" since i assume it was drink that fulled his behaviour. Just keep being the bigger person and if it gets out just explain rationally what happened, nobody will think any the less of you for sticking up for yourself.

i think that the guy already knows that it was his fault that he started the fight at the pub,so he sure as hell recognised you in the office, but was probably scared to start anything with you...don't take all this too seriously...just concetrate on your job...and you will probably continue working without ever crossing each others paths....and if ever he wants to pick a fight with you,am sure you'll manage just fine...well,hope you don't have to fight again cause you made it clear that you aren't the fighting type....good luck to you!!

Throw him off balance.March up to him shake his hand and tell him you have no hard feelings against him, even though he was insulting towards you.As far as your concerned its over with.See how he reacts.(Make sure somebody witnesses this gesture by you,it could come in handy in the future).

what if you had tripped on the glass and sliced yourself open. tripping somebody carrying glasses is the height of recklessness. when you see him in work corner him on his own and tell him to give you a reason to finish him.
