Well the thunder bolts can be easily avoided by quickly moving from left to right, and after that he sends out shockwaves- you have to jump them or you'll get hit. While this is happening some of the panels on the platform will light up with a green light. Just ground pound these panels to make the platform go down and reveal mirrors at the top.
Shoot some boomerangs (you can grab them from around the platform) and break the mirrors. Once they are all broken the Shaman loses his protective barrier and you can use the opportunity to attack him with boomerangs before he begins to attack you again.
Just keep repeating all that until his health goes all the way down.
